About the Story
Trilogy about Body
'Potential materiality'
For Aristotle the body is matter understood as potentiality, the one that offers the possibility of development, the soul is the form, the realization of those material possibilities that have become actual. The soul is the life that potentially possesses a body. The body that possesses in itself the principle of movement and rest. soul and body are no longer strangers punished with a forced and unnatural union, but fundamental and complementary parts of what is living, whose synergy vivifies and makes life possible.
Aristotle states that „The soul is inseparable from the body“ and that it seems that it cannot survive without it.
In this second photo set of the Trilogy about Body , I try to explain with these images of mine how a body is firmly planted on the ground and at the same time floating like air. Precisely a potential materiality.
